Iraq? Homeland Security? Social Security? Health Care?

It looks like Democrat Hillary Clinton plans to out-Republican the R's on so-called morality issues in the looming 2008 Presidential campaign. News reports have the junior Senator from New York lashing out at violent video games and joining forces with ultra-conservative Republican Senator Rick Santorum in calling upon President Bush to allocate $90 million for an investigation of the impact of electronic media on children's "cognitive, social, emotional and physical development".

Although Senator Clinton broke no new ground with her use of the oft-repeated sex with prositutes who are then killed slam at Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto series, there is a small glimmer of hope for gamers. Unlike most politicians, the Senator from New York is not totally unfamiliar with video games. For what it's worth, during her tenure as First Lady it was widely reported that she relaxed on occasion with Nintendo's handheld Game Boy system. No word on what her favorite games were. Any comment, Senator?

By the way, we hear that prostitutes line repeated by so many video game critics that it has almost become a cliche. In the near future I will interview someone from Rockstar to get their side of the story.
