WHAT WOULD JESUS PLAY?

With a professed Christian in the White House and the U.S. electorate experiencing a surge in religious belief, perhaps it was inevitable that faith-based gaming would find its way into the market.

An article in today's Good Morning Silicon Valley reports on Digital Praise, a Fremont, California design house whose motto is "Glorifying God Through Interactive Media."

The company has produced PC and Mac titles like Adventures in Odyssey and the Sword of the Spirit. The game challenges players to "Discover and enjoy the value of Christian virtues like kindness, peace, self-control, love and more."

There's no word on whether Digital Praise's games sell better in the red states.
